The East Peoria Fire and Police Departments will be hosting its sercond Car Seat check event at the East Peoria Fire Central House at 201 W. Washington Street in East Peoria on 8/6/2008, at 1-4pm. Nationally trained Child Passenger Safety Technicians will be on hand to provide seat checks and education on proper installation and best practice guidelines for child restraints. School Supply Drive

The Fondulac District Library will be collecting school supplies to distribute to East Peoria School District 86 and Robein School District 85.
