Fondulac District Library will be closed on Friday, July 3rd and Saturday, July 4th in observance of Independence Day. The library will reopen Monday, July 6th at 9:00 a.m.

Make tracks to Fondulac District Library for READ on the Wild Side! The library's 2009 summer reading program will begin on June 1 and end on August 1. East Peoria Mayor Dave Mingus will be available to discuss issues with residents during his monthly coffee shop meetings. Mornings with the Mayor will take place from 7 until 8 a.m. Wednesdays, July 1, July 8, July 15, July 22 and July 29 at Eysal’s Coffee Roasters, 400 E. Washington St., East Peoria. The Adult Summer Reading Program begins on June 1. John Hansen of Farm and Fleet has donated a cooler and Karen McClelland, State Farm Insurance, a United States Atlas as prizes for our Adult Summer Reading. Once again Fondulac District Library will be collecting school supplies to distribute to East Peoria School District 86 and Robein School District 85.
